Terms and conditions

1. Introduction

  • These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the purchase, participation, and use of the training experiences provided by Alliance for Motivational Interviewing Growth and Advancement, LLC (AMIGA LLC), including but not limited to the “Becoming MI Certificate” and other related services (“Training”).
  • By purchasing, attending, or participating in the Training, you (“Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Training Details

  • The Participant agrees to attend the training session(s) as outlined on the website and as confirmed upon registration.
  • AMIGA LLC reserves the right to reschedule, change, or cancel a training session due to unforeseen circumstances. If a session is canceled, the Participant will be given the option to transfer to a different session or receive a full refund.

3. Registration and Payment

  • The Participant must complete the registration process and submit payment in full to confirm their spot in the training.
  • Payments are processed through secure methods, and no reservations will be confirmed without receipt of full payment.
  • All prices are as listed on the website and are subject to change. The Participant agrees to pay the applicable price for the training session(s) at the time of booking.

4. Products and Pricing

  • Becoming MI Certificate ($200): A 4-hour immersive training that includes all three training modules and offers a professional certificate. The modules are:
    1. Naming & Exploring Challenges
    2. Assessing Impact & Reframing Meaning
    3. Engaging in a Closing Practice
  • Individual Modules ($100 each):
    • Module 1: Naming & Exploring Challenges
    • Module 2: Assessing Impact & Reframing Meaning
    • Module 3: Engaging in a Closing Practice

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • If the Participant wishes to cancel or transfer their spot, they must notify AMIGA LLC in writing at least 14 days prior to the training date. Refunds will be issued according to the following policy:
    • Full refund for cancellations made at least 14 days in advance of the training date.
    • 50% refund for cancellations made between 7 and 14 days prior to the training date.
    • No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before the training.

6. Participant Responsibilities

  • The Participant agrees to arrive at the training sessions on time and engage actively in the training.
  • The Participant must adhere to the code of conduct set by AMIGA LLC and maintain respectful behavior throughout the training.

7. Use of Materials

  • All materials provided by AMIGA LLC during the training, including workbooks, presentations, and exercises, are the property of AMIGA LLC and are protected by copyright law.
  • The Participant may use these materials solely for personal educational purposes and agrees not to reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without explicit permission from AMIGA LLC.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • AMIGA LLC will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Participant’s use of or inability to use the training materials or participation in any of the training sessions.
  • AMIGA LLC is not responsible for any personal injury or property damage that occurs during or after the training sessions.

9. Privacy

  • By purchasing the training, the Participant consents to the collection and use of personal information for registration, communication, and service delivery purposes. AMIGA LLC will not share personal data with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
  • AMIGA LLC complies with applicable data protection laws and regulations.

10. Governing Law

  • This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State]. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in [Location].

11. Acceptance

  • By purchasing and attending the training, the Participant acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
